Spondylolisthesis and DNFT® Chiropractic

A long time patient of mine has given me a testimonial regarding her experience with DNFT® Chiropractic in my office. This woman was one of my first clients in my first office and has been seeing me since for regular maintenance visits as needed. I will let her tell her story: I have a condition called spondylolisthesis (a stress fracture in one of my lumbar vertebra) which has caused me progressively worsening lower back pain since I was 16. I initially sought treatment from a chiropractor who employed “traditional” chiropractic methods. The adjustments themselves caused me pain and never … [Read more...]

DNFT® Chiropractor Salt Lake City

Using the body as an instrument, we are able to find exactly how injury, stress and trauma are stored in the body.

When someone considers chiropractic care, there are usually three criteria and expectations: Will the chiropractor be able to find what is my particular problem? Does this chiropractor know how to completely correct and resolve my concerns? How many times will I have to visit this chiropractor to resolve my issue? Choosing a chiropractor out all the possible options can be a daunting task. Directional Non-Force Technique® or DNFT Chiropractic offers a way to identify your issue (1), resolve and correct your concern (2) and achieve the resolution you are seeking in relatively few … [Read more...]

The Second DNFT™ Chiropractic Treatment

Salt Lake City chiropractor, spine specialist, light force chiropractic adjustments.

I just finished and posted a web page detailing the second Directional Non-Force Technique® (D.N.F.T.® Chiropractic) office visit.  This treatment oppertunity is usually scheduled within a week of the first visit. In most cases, the majority of the work and adjustments and done during the first appointment has held. There may be times when some residual or deeper layers are revealed within the regions address in the first visit but for the most part, we find the body holds on to the adjustments really well. We know we are making progress when we find the only areas needing to be … [Read more...]

Testing Chiropractic Technique Innovation, an Abstract

A "pull up" of the reactive leg indicates a "yes" from the body's persective.

Clinical experience promotes innovation in patient/client care techniques. Facilitating success with a difficult and challenging case can require imagination, patience, humility and objective measurement. It takes imagination, research and confidence to develop a novel approach for treating clients who are not responding to your existing technique methods. It takes patience to see and measure if the client is responding to your treatment trial. It takes humility to acknowledge success and failure. It takes objective measurement to truly evaluate the novel technique … [Read more...]
