Dr. Jonathan Leusden attended the University of Colorado-Boulder and graduated with a BA in Biology. He subsequently attended and graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Unexpectedly, Dr. Lacey Picard, a DNFT chiropractor practicing in Holladay, Ut was injured in a serious accident Labor Day weekend, 2011. Dr Leusden is humbled and grateful to take over Dr. Picard’s practice while she recovers.

Dr. Leusden regularly attends continuing education seminars and has guest lectured in Palmer College of Chiropractic philosophy classes. Current research interests and writing projects include the neurophysiology of passive muscle testing and the language of stress accumulation and resolution.

Dr. Jonathan Leusden practices a specialty within chiropractic called Open Source Technique  is known for extremely detailed real-time analysis and very gentle corrective adjustments. The accuracy of the analysis allows Dr. Leusden to identify and effectively resolve accumulated injury, trauma and stress with very light force. There are no popping or cracking or high velocity adjustments needed. The body actually prefers to be in a corrected state and when addressed and corrected in such detail, the result are adjustments with significant holding power.

OST and DNFT as it is also known, is an original non-force technique within Chiropractic, developed by  Dr. Richard VanRumpt starting in the 1920’s. What is most attractive to patients is the “very gentle,” light force approach to correcting accumulated injury and trauma as well as the relatively few number of visits needed.
